Weather Related Announcement for Tuesday, February 22, 2022: 2-Hour Late Start
Mason City Community School District will have a 2-hour late start today, Tuesday, February 22. There will be no morning 4-year-old preschool. The NCIBA Concert Band Clinic at John Adams Middle School will be postponed to Thursday, February 24.
MCCSD New Mascot Idea Submissions
The Mason City High School Student was tasked with forming a committee to work on the submission of new mascot ideas and then creating a selection process to submit a recommendation for a new mascot to the Board of Education to consider at their meeting on March 21, 2022.

The Mason City Community School District Board of Education will meet in a special session at 2:15 p.m. on Tuesday, February 22, 2022, in the in the Main Office Conference Room of the Mason City High School, 1700 4th St. SE, Mason City, Iowa.
4-Year Old Preschool Program 2022-2023 - On-line Sign-up Now Available
Parents and guardians who plan on having a child attend the Mason City Community School District 4-Year-Old Preschool next year (2022-2023) and have not yet registered can sign up on-line. Placement into the program is on a "first come, first serve" basis, so sign up soon.
